We love challenges

Automotive, medical equipment, steel... We are constantly receiving exciting straightening projects for a wide variety of applications. This was also the case when a Swedish manufacturer of equipment for mining and infrastructure projects contacted us with their problem.

? The task: The automatic straightening of different drill rods with hexagonal and circular cross-sections, solid and hollow material, with and without thread.

? The particular challenge: a wide variety of workpieces with lengths from 500 to 2,800 mm, diameters from approx. 25 to 90 mm and individual workpiece weights from 2 to almost 50 kg.

? Our solution: An M-AH 63 - 3250 - S2 with numerous features, such asVarius (3- and 4-point straightening; you can get an impression of Varius in our new ASV video), robot handling, multi-position hammer and much more.

The M-AH is characterized by its versatility, as we use a largely standardized modular system that still leaves us enough room for customer-specific adaptations.

In close and very detailed project coordination with the customer, we succeeded in defining and realizing the optimal solution for his problem. The system is currently being commissioned at our plant in Erkrath and we are already looking forward to inviting the customer to Germany for a pre-acceptance test and to showing him his new machine.
