Strong together in the rail industry!

Christian Busch, Gesamt-Vertriebsleiter der MAE Group, im Austausch beim VDB-Verbandstreffen zur Informationssicherheit.

Since the end of 2024, the MAE. Group has been a proud member of the German Railway Industry Association (VDB) e.V. (Verband der Bahnindustrie in Deutschland).

Our General Sales Manager Christian Busch regularly represents us at association meetings and is actively involved in the SME working group - he was just in Berlin at the VDB to work on the topic of information security. Why this commitment? Because we know: Alone fast, together far! 🚄

The advantages for us as a medium-sized company are obvious:

1️⃣ Network on rails: A direct line to industry leaders, political decision-makers and potential partners - invaluable for setting the strategic course!

2️⃣ A voice with weight: What an individual SME can hardly achieve, the association can achieve with combined strength - whether in terms of regulations or subsidies.

3️⃣ Top-class know-how transfer: recognizing trends at an early stage, learning from best practices and driving innovation forward together.

The new EU regulations on cyber and information security in particular present us all with major challenges - hurdles that we in the association can overcome more easily together! 🛡️

In times of global challenges, organized cooperation is not a nice extra, but essential for the survival of Germany as an industrial location. Or as we engineers would say: System stability increases with the number of meaningful connections! 🔧
