Not all straighteners are the same 🧐

Richtmaschine zum Biegerichten von verformten Bauteilen

The search for the optimum solution for straightening deformed components can quickly lead to confusion. There are many different straightening processes and machines for different requirements and workpiece types. It is important to take a closer look and think about which type of machine you really need.

Here are the main groups of straightening machines:

1️⃣ Roll straightening machines: Ideal for flow production and extremely short cycle times, but less precise than other straightening processes. Suitable for rotationally symmetrical components, profiles and strip material such as sheet metal.

2️⃣ Straightening machines: Ideal for achieving extremely tight tolerances, but longer cycle times than roller straightening. Suitable for rotationally symmetrical components, profiles and (with restrictions) structural components such as cast or welded parts.

With our portfolio of straightening machines, we at MAE stand for straightening machines that meet the highest demands. Whether manual or automatic, with our solutions you can reliably shape your workpieces, whether in the automotive industry, steel industry, aerospace, medical technology or numerous other sectors.
