How can we become even more sustainable as a company?

We have dealt with this question intensively in recent months and considered where we can further improve the energy efficiency of the Erkrath site.

We have long set the standard for energy efficiency and sustainability in our machines. Now we are looking forward to soon making the production of our machines even more environmentally friendly, as our next sustainable step is the installation of a photovoltaic system on the roofs of our assembly hall.

The system contains of 240 solar modules on an area of almost 500m² and will supply us with green electricity from sunlight in the future and thus provide the electricity for our company buildings as well as for the wallboxes for our electric or hybrid vehicles. With the photovoltaic system's output of 99.6kWp, we will be able to cover one third of our annual electricity requirements in the future, thus saving over 25,000kg of CO2 annually.

We are pleased to be able to make a further positive contribution to protecting the environment with this step. The next projects to increase energy efficiency are already being planned and we look forward to reporting on them soon.
