Certified sustainability

We have once again been awarded the Bronze Medal by EcoVadis for our responsible and sustainable actions along our supply chain. In its corporate social responsibility (CSR) ratings, the independent rating platform evaluates the environmental, social and ethical responsibility of companies as well as sustainable procurement.

In its CSR assessment, EcoVadis collected, analyzed and examined all relevant and important information about our services, products, activities and decision-making processes. The resulting bronze medal confirms that we are among the top 50 percent of the companies evaluated, and that makes us proud.

Ecological responsibility

We strive to use the resources available to us as sparingly as possible. In this context, we focus on topics such as energy saving in the construction of our machines. However, the continuous optimization of our machines and the associated reduction in the steel used for individual components also make a significant contribution to reducing energy consumption and emissions.

Social responsibility

As an employer, we have a special responsibility to our employees, who make the success of our company possible in the first place. And so health protection and ergonomics in the workplace, as well as the individual development of our employees and a good work-life balance, play an important role for us in offering our workforce a safe, attractive and motivating environment.

Ethical responsibility

But we have a responsibility not only to our employees. We also have this responsibility towards all our customers, suppliers and partners, as well as towards society. To ensure this, we always follow a strict code of conduct, which incidentally applies to all GESCO Group companies, and which ensures cooperation characterized by respect, trust, responsibility and transparency.

Sustainable procurement

The same standards we set for ourselves in environmental, social and ethical terms, we also set for our suppliers to ensure sustainable procurement and to keep our footprint as small as possible throughout the supply chain.
